The L.H. Field Family. Pictured are Mr. Field (back row, third from the left) and his five sons and their families circa. 1912. Mr. Field moved to Jackson, MI shortly before opening his first retail store in 1869 which later became the L.H. Field Co. 

There are three L.H. Fields in this photograph. L.H. Field Senior (back row, third from the left) founded the store. L.H. Field Junior (back row, fourth from the right) was an architect who designed many buildings in Jackson. L.H. Field III, grandson to L.H. Field Senior carried on his grandfather's tradition of retailing and was the father of Natalie Field.
